Israeli swimmer Gal Nevo has qualified for the semi-finals in the men’s 200-meter medley at the Olympics. He finished his race in fifth place with a time of 1:59:56.

Earlier in the day swimmer Yaakov Toumarkin qualified for the semi-finals in the men’s 200-meter backstroke.
