The Petach Tikva District Court will hear an appeal Wednesday in the case of Kiryat Malachi Mayor Motti Malka. Both Malka and his second-in-command Yossi Soleimani are accused of rape over an alleged long-term sexual relationship with a female subordinate.
A Magistrates Court released the two, saying it was not clear when – or even if – the two will be indicted. Police are appealing the release, and argue that they have evidence again the two.
