MK Dr. Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) attacked Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Tuesday, after Barak instructed the IDF to begin implementing the Security Service Law vis-à-vis the hareidim, following the expiration of the Tal Law.

“Barak is a hero when it comes to the hareidim, yet he does not order to recruit Arabs to jobs that would be suitable for them; that is cowardly racism,” said Ben-Ari, adding, “If he does not fulfill his legal obligation regarding the Arabs, I will go to the Supreme Court.”
