NY Court Rules Iran Must Compensate 9/11 Victims

A Federal Court in New York ruled on Tuesday that Al-Qaeda, the Taliban and Iran must pay six billion dollars in damages to victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, because of the assistance all three provided to the terrorists who carried out the attacks.

However, the decision is symbolic and it will likely not be possible to collect the amount in question.
