Minister of Finance Yuval Steinitz (Likud Party) has decided to postpone the increase in the VAT, or value-added-tax until September 1st, 2012. The decision came after consultation with the Chairman of the Finance Committee, Rabbi Moshe Gafni (United Torah Judaism Party).
