Panetta: Israel Has Not Decided to Attack Iran Yet

Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta of the United States said, Sunday, that Israel has not yet made a decision on attacking Iran's nuclear development program.  Speaking to reporters as he set off for a regional tour, he said the administration of President Barack Obama would respect Israel's ability to make decisions about its security.

Panetta is due in Israel Tuesday for meetings with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and other senior defense officials.
