Hamas security forces in Gaza detained local Fatah spokesman Faiz Abu-Ita for four hours, Sunday, according to the Ma'an news agency.

A Fatah spokesman in Ramallah said the arrest followed Abu-Ita's remarks about conciliation between Fatah and Hamas, as well as about elections in the Palestinian Authority.
