It was disclosed, recently, that investigators of the National Unit for Detecting Serious Crimes recommended, two months ago, to try the head of a Mossad intelligence agency branch on suspicion of financial irregularities.

The senior official has been suspended, but the State Prosecutor's Office has not decided whether or not to press charges.
