Temple Movement: Who Gave Order to Close Temple Mount?

Attorney Avi'ad Visouli sent an urgent letter to David District Police Chief Moshe Barkat on behalf of the Temple Movement, Sunday, demanding to know who ordered the blanket closure of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to Jews on Sunday. Responding to claims by a police spokesman that there were plans for a provocation at the site, Visouli called the closure "collective punishment" that violated laws and Supreme Court rulings, also asking why alternative measures were not taken.

Visouli said the Temple Movement plans a comprehensive investigation of the closure and if the police claim secret information, the investigation team will include someone with proper security clearance.
