Speaking Saturday night, PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad said that the “Palestinian issue had been taken off the table” in international diplomacy. In an interview with the British Independent newspaper, Fayyad said that “the Palestinian issue has never been as irrelevant as it is today.”
Restoring its relevance was “the greatest challenge” of the PA, he said, adding that it was possible that PA Arabs would begin to “lost patience” with the PA for failing to force Israel to abandon Judea and Samaria.
