Sources in the police department investigating suspended Central District Commander Niso Shacham said they expect to be interviewing more witnesses in the case. So far, they said that five women have stepped forward to accuse Shacham of inappropriate behavior, but that this was the “tip of the iceberg,” and that they expected more complainants to emerge.

The sources said that the accusations so far constituted a “pattern” for Shacham, and that a lengthy investigation was likely. Shacham's attorney had no comment on the allegations.
