Police have arrested two individuals in the Arab village of Tabash in northern Israel, after a riot between two families that has resulted in the death of one individual, and the injury of two others. Police said that the riot began when the three victims criticized another resident of the village for his wild driving habits. The driver took out a gun and started shooting, setting off a riot in which members of the family of the victims attacked the home of the family of the shooter.

Large numbers of police were needed to halt the riots. Several suspects are being sought in the case.
