Former New York congressional candidate Asher Taub told Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, Friday, that he hopes the next president of the United States will be good to the state of Israel and to the people of Israel. Summing up President Barack Obama's four years in office, he said, "Obama does not hate Jews but he does hate Israel. Obama does not understand the reality of the Middle East."
Taub added, "I hope that Mitt Romney will not make mistakes and that he will be elected the next president of the U.S. Ninety-nine percent of the Jews will vote for Mitt Romney and the Republicans." He explained, "American Jews are disappointed with Obama for several reasons. All U.S. presidents have chutzpah [nerve -ed.], especially the current president, who tells the state of Israel what to do and where to build. That's a lot of nerve. Also, Obama's lack of support for an attack against a nuclear Iran; American Jews do not view this positively."
