The Legal Forum for the Land of Israel asked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Friday, for a discussion at the next cabinet meeting of the conduct of the attorney general and State Attorney's Office against the Ministerial Committee on Settlements regarding a petition by residents of Migrom against a Supreme Court eviction order. In a letter to Netanyahu Forum head NachiEyalwrote, "Despite theclear decisionof the ministerial committeethat Migron should not be harmed before checking theclaimsof the residents regarding acquisition of the land, the prosecutiondid not raisethe issueaggressively, as demanded, before theSupremeCourt justice. There issequentialand deliberateconduct whichthe governmentmust stop."
He continued, "Whoever closes his eyesnow cannot saythat he was unawareand did not understandthefuture compromise ofthe Supreme Court,to destroy Migronbecausethe state did notexpressa sharp, decisive stand against the destruction pending a re-examination of the ownership claims."
