PM, Top Experts Meet on Finance

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu sat down Thursday with Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz and Bank of Israel head Professor Stanley Fischer to talk about the 2012-2013 budget. After the meeting Netanyahu said, “Even after the steps that will be taken, Israeli families in the middle and lower classes will end up with more money in their pockets.”

Steinitz said, “We are here to protect the Israeli economy. We see what’s happening in the United States, Britain, Spain, and Greece, and we won’t let it happen here.”
