“Stay Away from New Bible Education Program”

Former Chief Sephardic Rabbi  Eliyahu Bakshi-Doron Strongly castigates the new Education Ministry ’Levelheaded Bible Education’ program in a letter he wrote Tuesday. “According to the new program, students are encouraged to approach the monumental personas of our forefathers and other biblical figures as if they were laypersons, and to freely express their personal opinions in the face of Torah Law. Educators concerned for the educational well-being of their students must keep away from this destructive program.”
