      Israel, Bulgaria to Strengthen Ties

Bulgaria and Israel will increase security and trade ties, officials from both countries said Monday. Both Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev and Prime Minister Boyko Borissov will visit Israel in the coming months, the two said in a press conference in Sofia Monday.

Present at the event was Israeli Tourism Minister Stas Meschesnekov, who thanked both of Bulgaria's top officials for their assistance in the investigation in the wake of last week's terror attack in Burgas.  Meschesnekov said that the two countries could not allow terrorists to destroy the good relations between them. Plevneliev said that in discussions with numerous Western leaders, all had agreed to pursue the terrorists responsible for the attack and to bring them to justice.
