Yechimovich: We'd be Glad to Get MKs from Kadima

Chairwoman Shelly Yechimovich of the Labor party repeated her call for national elections, Monday. Speaking to the party's Knesset faction, she said, "Important decisions stand before us and there's no way to decide them other than with Knesset elections."

Referring to the split in the Kadima party, she said, "There were several members of the Knesset from Kadima who announced from the beginning that they were joining the opposition and identify with us and our path. I'll be happy to see these Knesset members, the same real honest MKs who realized that Kadima has come to its end and understand and want to be part of a stable ideological house - the Labor Party. We'll be glad to welcome them into our ranks, without promises, without jobs, without dividing spoils, for ideological reasons but not as part of a move that will strengthen the Netanyahu government."
