Report: 82 Dead in Baghdad Attacks

At least 82 people were killed and 112 wounded, Monday, in bombings, shellings and shootings in and north of Baghdad, according to the British Broadcasting Corporation. The BBC cited security and medical officials, as well as correspondents who said many of those killed were members of the security forces.

On Sunday, 17 people were killed, south of the capital. At least 237 people were killed in June, including 84 who died in a wave of bombings on June 13th, when 300 others were wounded.
