Arson Suspected in Repeat Jerusalem Fire

A fire broke out late Saturday night near Mount Scopus in Jerusalem. Four firefighting crews were dispatched to put down the blaze.

The fire started very close to where another major fire burned several weeks ago. In that fire, which spread to near an IDF base, 14 soldiers required treatment for smoke inhalation. Two Arab youths from the nearby village of Issawiya were arrested in that incident.
