Several demonstrations and memorial services were held Saturday night in various places around the country in memory of Moshe Silman, who set himself on fire at a social justice protest in Tel Aviv Saturday night. Most of the protests were quiet, with the exception of one in Tel Aviv that joined a larger demonstration that blocked roads and streets in the center of the city.

Silman died of his wounds on Friday, after suffering burns to 80% of his body. His funeral is to be held Sunday morning in Holon.
