Social justice protesters in Tel Aviv on Saturday night marched through several streets in the center of the city, blocking traffic on several streets. Dozens of protestors broke off from the main group at around midnight, and walked down onto the Ayalon Expressway, blocking traffic on the southbound side of the expressway. Police were dispatched to break the demonstration up and clear the road.
Earlier, protesters blocked streets in the area of the headquarters of the National Insurance Institute. Police managed to move protesters along and clear the streets around the building. Several protesters were arrested.
