State Attorneys are scheduled to appear before the Supreme Court on Sunday to present Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein's position on a petition by residents of the Binyamin-region hilltop community not to be evicted under a previous High Court order. The residents claim that the land has been purchased from a Palestinian Authority (PA) Arab whose identity they are trying to protect, lest the seller be executed for selling land to a Jew under PA law.

The state was supposed to respond on Thursday but was granted a delay by the court.
