Director-General Francis Gurry of the World Intellectual Property Organization said, Thursday, that he has asked United Nations sanctions officials to examine the computers and other technology the U.N. agency provided to Iran and North Korea, although they are under U.N. sanctions.

Gurry's statement came after the United States said it was investigating the organization's activities.
