Member of Knesset Ahmad Tibi of the Raam - Ta'al Party (Arab Movement for Renewal - United Arab List), tore up a photo of Rabbi Meir Kahane on Wednesday during a Knesset session. He said the act was in response of MK Dr. Michael Ben-Ari's act of tearing up a Christian missionary book that was sent to Members of Knesset. Dr. Ben-Ari was a supporter of Rabbi Kahane, who was a Member of Knesset in the 1980s. He said the Christian missionary material was a provocation. Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin called for MK Tibi to step down from the Knesset podium and condemned the act.
Rabbi Meir Kahane's Kach Party called to compensate Arabs for their property in Israel and then repatriate them en-mass to surrounding Arab countries.
