The Knesset will hold a session Wednesday on single mothers. The organizations Yedid and Hakoach L’Hashpia – Nashim Osot Shinui (The power to influence – women make change) will take part in the discussion.

MK Orit Zuaretz (Kadima) called for the deliberation. “Single mothers, who bear sole responsibility for raising their children and maintaining their household, must not suffer inequality in professional opportunities,” she said.
