New "Shabbat Calendar" Makes Sabbath Central

A new calendar makes the Sabbath day central, literally. The calendar has been released by Sarah Feld of Kamti Press, located in Beit El in the Samaria region. The unique hexagon format has the six days of the week surrounding the Sabbath day, which is in the middle of the page. Feld told Arutz Sheva news, "The Shabbat Calendar emphasizes the significance of Shabbat and returns it to the center where it belongs. It's a constant reminder of the centrality of the day of rest for body, mind and soul." At the bottom of each page is a quote from a famous Jewish figure about the Sabbath day.
