Olmert Cleared in Two of Three Cases

Judges of the Jerusalem District Court found former prime minister Ehud Olmert guilty, Tuesday, on a charge of breach of trust in the Investment Center case involving appointments from when he was minister of industry, commerce and labor. The judges found him not guilty in the Rishontours case, where he was accused of double billing the government for foreign speaking engagements, and of receiving illegal political contributions from American fundraiser Morris (Moshe) Talansky. The judges said there was doubt about his guilt in those two cases.

The judges found former office manager Shula Zaken guilty on two counts of receiving things through fraud.
