Just in time for the heavy summer travel season, El Al pilots said Sunday that there were likely to be “delays” in some flights, due to expected work actions by unions. The pilots have been engaged in lengthy negotiations with management over several contractual issues, and on Sunday they said that the negotiations had failed.
The pilots did not declare a work action, but said that other unions, including those representing cabin crews, were supporting their action. The union did not specify what work actions would take place, or when they would occur.
