Central ElectionCommission of thePalestinian Authority hasdecidedto suspenditsvoterregistrationprogramuntil further notice, according to a Friday report by the Bethlehem-based Ma'an news agency.
An announcement posted onthe committee's Websitesaid that thedecision was madeafter receipt of a warrant issued bythe Hamas government in Gaza, which ordereda suspension in voter registration until Friday.
