Central Election Commission of the Palestinian Authority has decided to suspend its voter registration program until further notice, according to a Friday report by the Bethlehem-based Ma'an news agency.

An announcement posted on the committee's Website said that the decision was made after receipt of a warrant issued by the Hamas government in Gaza, which ordered a suspension in voter registration until Friday.
