Soldier Complains of Headache; Dies of Rare Disease

Chief medical officer Itzik Kreiss of the Israel Defense Forces has appointed a committee to examine Thursday's death of a soldier from a serious rare disease.

The soldier a logistics driver in the Yahalom combat-engineering unit, complained of headaches about a week ago. He was treated, but his condition began to deteriorate and he was referred to a hospital where it became apparent that he suffered from the disease.
