Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said, Thursday evening, that he is ready to impose personal sanctions against draft evaders, under legislation being developed to replace the Tal Law, which granted deferments to draft-age yeshiva students. His declaration came during conversations with coalition leaders.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman told Netanyahu that the conclusions of the Equal Burden of Service Committee were unacceptable to him and that he demanded enlistment by all 18-year-olds, including Israeli Arabs.
