The government of Switzerland announced, Tuesday, that it was increasing its sanctions against Iran's nuclear development program. The sanctionsthat Switzerlandwill expand relate to petrochemicalequipment,telecommunications equipment,metalsand diamonds.
Switzerland did not apply theoil embargoimposed by theEuropean Union on July 1st,"for reasonsof foreign policy."
