Member of Knesset Moshe (Mutz) Matalon called on disabled veterans to participate in a demonstration, Saturday night, on behalf of equal national service requirements.
Matalon, who was wounded during the Yom Kippur War in 1973, said, "My brothers andfellowdisabled veterans,as those who contributed totheir bodies and souls to protect thecountry-you havethe natural rightto struggle andto demandequalityin enlistment. There's nobody more worthy than youto lead andparticipate in the publicprotest which cries out for fair and equaldistribution [of the burden] amongall the citizens ofIsrael."
