An eight-year-old boy was brought "in a fog" to a health clinic in Mitzpe Ramon, Tuesday morning, apparently after he was stung by a yellow scorpion. The Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency service administered first aid, ahead of the child being airlifted to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva.
A 20-year-old worker was lightly wounded when she was bitten by a snake, in a packing house at Kibbutz Gevulot, near the Tze'elim military base in the Eshkol Council region. An MDA intensive-care team took her to Soroka Hospital.
