South Korea to Apparently Resume Oil Imports from Iran

South Korean officials said, Monday, that the state may resume the import of oil from Iran later this month, according to the Yonhap news agency.

A government source told the news agency that the Seoul government is considering to accept Iran's offer to supply oil by Iranian tankers, a move that would allow the country to receive oil shipments despite European sanctions imposed on oil imports from Iran over its failure to cooperate with the international community regarding its nuclear development program.
