Route 90 in the Arava area, south of 'Ein Yahav, was re-opened to traffic, Monday afternoon, after authorities determined there was no danger in doing so.

The highway was closed following an explosion in a pipe carry hydrochloric acid. One person was killed and nine people injured - one of them critically and three seriously - from exposure to the fumes released in the explosion.
