      Update: Nine Injured in Pipeline Burst

      The Magen David Adom emergency service said, Monday afternoon, that the number of people who were injured had risen to nine from the bursting of a pipe carrying hydrochloric acid at a pumping facility south of 'Ein Yahav, south of the Dead Sea. One person died in the incident.

      One of the nine injured was listed in critical condition, three were in serious condition and five were lightly affected by the fumes. The victims were set to be airlifted to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva' after their conditions stabilized.
