Interviewed by Kol Yisrael government radio, the deputy prime minister said, "One proofof this ismilitarymaneuvertheystarted." He expressed his hopethat withina month or two, the Tehrangovernment would understand that the international communitywas resolute in its decision not to allowthe Islamic Republic to developnuclear weapons.He noted thatafterthreerounds oftalksbetween Iran and thesuperpowers, it wasclear to all thatthe Iranians did notintendto give uptheir nuclear programand thattheir goalis togain timeto furthertheir planas quickly as possible.
