Hundreds of demonstrators from different movements went to the Egyptian presidential palace, Monday, to demand that newly-sworn-in President Mohammed Morsi release prisoners being held in Egyptian military prisons, according to the Al-Masri Al-Yaum daily.

Security forces did not try to stop the demonstrators, even when one of them climbed on the gate of the palace.
