The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine said on Friday that the upcoming meeting between Kadima chairman Shaul Mofaz and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas was scheduled because of the Israeli government's internal reasons and because of Mofaz's personal interests.

The group said in a statement that the meeting does not serve the national interest of the 'Palestinian people.'
