Following the mostly-peaceful removal of the last of the families from five disputed buildings in the Ulpana neighborhood of Beit El, Thursday evening, the buildings were sealed by Defense Ministry contractors, ahead of their being uprooted and removed. No Jews were found to do the job so the ministry gave the assignment to residents of the Palestinian Authority.
