Boaz Nol of the "Common Camp" movement, leading the "Sucker's" Tent exponents of equal compulsory service for all, responded, Thursday evening, to Yisrael Beytenu's leaving the state committee to promote the principle by saying that party chairman Avigdor Lieberman "also understood that the committee is ending up as one big deception in all areas. This is not a solution."
The committee has been charged with creating alternatives to the soon-to-expire Tal Law, which gives exemptions to yeshiva students. Referring to bills by Lieberman and Defense Minister Ehud Barak, Nol continued, "The government approved a draft-for-all law of Lieberman and Barak on the day of "dissolution of the Knesset", just last month, and the prime minister voted in favor. Instead of humiliating them all with Tal Law 2 the prime minister should be leading and doing what he knows needs to happen - equal service for all."
