Boaz Nol of the "Common Camp" movement, leading the "Sucker's" Tent exponents of equal compulsory service for all, responded, Thursday evening, to Yisrael Beytenu's leaving the state committee to promote the principle by saying that party chairman Avigdor Lieberman "alsounderstoodthatthe committeeis ending up as one bigdeception in all areas.This is nota solution."
The committee has been charged with creating alternatives to the soon-to-expire Tal Law, which gives exemptions to yeshiva students. Referring to bills by Lieberman and Defense Minister Ehud Barak, Nol continued, "The government approveda draft-for-alllaw ofLiebermanandBarakon the day of "dissolution of the Knesset", justlast month,andthe prime ministervoted in favor.Insteadof humiliatingthem allwith Tal Law2the prime ministershould beleadinganddoing what heknowsneeds to happen- equalservice for all."
