Three caravans (demobilized trailers) were removed, Thursday, from a land deemed to be owned by Arabs on top of the Artis Hill, overlooking Beit El, until recently home to about 30 families. The uprooting was part of the agreement for uprooting 33 families from five buildings in the Binyamin-region Jewish community's Ulpana neighborhood. Occupants from the Artis were sent to the same caravilla (large demobilized trailer) neighborhood as the Ulpana evictees.
The removal was carried out by the Beit El local council and not by Defense Ministry contractors. The caravans were placed next to Beit El's pre-military academy.
