The Ministry of Finance announced that taxes will be raised in 2013. Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz was quoted in Globes business news as having said, "regrettably, there is no choice but to raise taxes. Even the new deficit target of 3% is challenging, but we intend to meet this challenge."
