Yair Lapid has announced that his Yesh Atid faction will hold protests across the country calling for all citizens to bear an equal share of military and national service. Protesters will stand at junctions and hand out material explaining the party’s stance.

A government committee is currently finishing its work examining alternatives to the Tal Law. The Tal Law allows hareidi men to learn Torah full time rather than enlisting in the IDF; the Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional earlier this year.
