      Proposal: Report After Each Crash

The Knesset voted Wednesday to approve, in a first vote, a bill that would require officers investigating car crashes to send their findings to relevant bodies. The officers would be asked to send a report to the city in which the crash occurred, or, if the crash occurred between cities, to the National Roads Authority.

The purpose would be to inform authorities of issues that could be causing crashes, such as poor lighting, in order to prevent future collisions.
