A number of attorneys have submitted complaints to Egyptian prosecutors, alleging corruption by former prime minister Ahmed Shafiq, who was just defeated in the country's presidential runoff, according to a Tuesday report by the semi-official Al-Ahram daily.
A complaint by a former member of parliament claims that Shafiq sold a piece of land belonging to Alaa and Gamal Mubarak, sons of the deposed president, at a ridiculously low price.
