Chairman Shalom Dov Wolpe of the Eretz Yisrael Shelanu (Our Land of Israel/The Land of Israel is Ours) movement reacted, Sunday evening to the rise of Mohammed Mursi of the Muslim Brotherhood to President-elect of Egypt by saying, "Israel must take preventative steps and immediately conquer the Sinai Peninsula, which was transferred to Egypt in the Camp David Accords."
Rabbi Wolpe said, "Israel needsto be resourcefulas on the eve of theSix Day War,and notbe caught complacent," adding that, "whenallthe concept ofpeacewith Egyptis crashing, particularlythe soldiersare on theborderand terrorist organizationscontrol allspace inthe Sinai, onlyre-conquest ofthe Sinaiwill returnpowerto Israel."
