Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin has canceled a meeting that was set to take place in July with Hungarian Parliament Speaker Laszlo Kover, after the latter participated in a ceremony in Romania honoring Hungarian writer Jozsef Nyiro. Nyiro was a member of the Arrow Cross Party in Hungary during World War II, which was a major supporter of the Nazis. About 800,000 Jews were murdered in Hungary during the Holocaust.
